My Water Live

Live water temperature for lakes & lidos

See how it works

Built for the Grit of Open Water

Engineered and Tested at Tooting Bec Lido — Swimmer Owned

How it works

1. We provide a pre-configured sensor for your venue.

2. Submerge the probe and secure the weatherproof enclosure.

3. The sensor transmits readings to the cloud automatically (using its own SIM card - no Wi-Fi required).

4. We integrate local weather data.

5. The data is made available for you and, most importantly, your swimmers. Find out how

6. We provide a simple web dashboard for monitoring your sensor health and managing your alert settings.

7. Your swimmers receive a real-time view of the water temperature. Simple, effective, and rather brilliant.

There is no need for Wi-Fi or a mains power connection.

About My Water Live - From Water to CloudWater temperature has personality

My Water Live wasn't born in a boardroom; it was engineered at the water’s edge.

It started with a simple question at Tooting Bec Lido: “Do you log your readings anywhere?” Until then, my data lived only in my Strava descriptions. But it sparked a vision: a real-time network for lakes and lidos that lets you check the conditions before you’ve even left the house.

I noticed that whilst many swimmers carry their own thermometers, manual readings are notoriously clunky. Between cheap fish-tank thermometers, parallax errors and the curvature of liquid, two people rarely see the same number. Last winter, the poolside was a sea of individual gauges. Now, that clutter has vanished.

We provide the clarity so you can focus on the experience itself.

Even when the mind screams “don't get in”, once you do, it's good for the soul.
